I spent a few years trying to earn a living teaching private guitar lessons out of my home. Occasionally I would be asked to repair a guitar or even buy someone's used instrument. One afternoon a neighbour of ours dropped off an identical pair of Univox acoustics, probably old catalogue guitars from the 60s or early 70s. They were in decent shape so I took them off his hands. I picked one up later that evening and wrote this tune in about ten minutes. I think the melody had been living inside the guitar for decades.
